Get AI-powered advice on this job and more exclusive features.Electrical Technician Level 3 is a senior technician responsible for leading advanced diagnostics, repairs, and installations on industrial plant electrical systems and fleet vehicles. This role operates independently, mentors’ junior staff, and ensures critical electrical systems are reliable, compliant, and safe. The Level 3 Electrician may serve as the technical lead or point of contact during maintenance projects and emergency repairs.Key responsibilities• Performs installation and maintenance of electrical equipment ranging from diesel driven dewatering pumps, Air compressors and diesel driven generators.• Performs routine electrical servicing, general equipment maintenance and conducting basic fault-finding tasks on a wide range of equipment (Diesel Generators, Air Compressors, 3 phase motors & Electrical Distribution panels).• Performs maintenance of batteries, lighting systems, alternators, and electrical starters on fleet equipment.• Lead troubleshooting, testing, and repair of complex electrical systems in plant and mobile equipment (motors, drives, PLCs, lighting, control circuits• Configure and maintain Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), motor control centers (MCCs), and programmable logic controllers (PLCs).• Carries out LV isolation and LV commissioning in accordance with LOTO practices• Respond to emergency maintenance calls during or after shifts (on-call rotation if applicable).• Read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.• Ensure Safe working practices are carried out at all times in accordance to Health and Safety legislation.Qualification requirements Education: o Qualified Electrician with relevant electrical certification.o Minimum 5+ years of experience in industrial and fleet electrical systems.o Associate’s degree or technical diploma in Electrical Technology or related field.o Ability to read simple electrical schematics and follow instructions.o Advanced knowledge of AC/DC circuits, VFDs, motor controls, sensors, and PLCs.o Basic computer skills for logging maintenance reports.o Proficient in the use of electrical testing and diagnostic tools (e.g., multimeters, clamp meters, meggers, oscilloscopes.Experience: o Advanced hands-on experience with Electrical systems, tools, and troubleshooting techniques.o Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic system integration with electrical controls.Certifications (Preferred): o Any additional specialized certifications related to the electrical field.• Strong Electrical aptitude and problem-solving ability.• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative work ethic.• Willingness to work in a dynamic, physically demanding environment.• Strong ability to read and interpret complex electrical schematics and documentation.Working Conditions: • Exposure to noisy environments and Electrical hazards.• Ability to work long hours.• Physical stamina for prolonged periods on foot and for lifting moderate to heavy equipment.Seniority level Seniority level Associate Employment type Employment type Full-time Job function Job function Manufacturing Industries Construction Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at ACTION International Services LLC by 2x Sign in to set job alerts for “Electrician” roles.Electrician Opportunities - Atlantis The Royal Global Village, Dubai, United Arab Emirates 1 week ago Electrician - The St. Regis Downtown Dubai Electrical Design Engineer - EPLAN (Entry-Level)Construction Professionals and Labourers MALTA JOBS - ELECTRICIAN / PLUMBER/HVAC / AC MECHANIC2025 Mechanical/Electrical Engineering Internship Electrical Site Engineer ( UAE/GCC/India)We’re unlocking community knowledge in a new way.
