Investment Officer

The Officer is responsible for contributing to lead generation and facilitating leads in the key target sectors covered.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIESContribute to the development and implementation of lead generation strategies for the geographies covered by the team.Analyze patterns in FDI from these geographies, identify key multipliers in the markets, and engage with related stakeholders in Qatar.Participate in team interactions with potential investors and assist in organizing follow-up actions from these interactions.Develop value propositions, gather customized information about location factors relevant to investors, facilitate introductions to relevant public and private entities, organize Fact Finding Trips, and deliver presentations.Ensure all necessary documentation regarding investor relations is provided to investors.Manage one or more targeted sectors by researching current issues and business trends, analyzing investment patterns, updating related value propositions and collateral, and facilitating leads within these sectors.Build and strengthen networks with sector-relevant stakeholders in Qatar.QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLSMinimum 4 years of relevant experience in an international business environment.Bachelor’s degree in international business, economics, management, marketing, or business administration.Preferably an MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification from a recognized business school.Experience in investor relations, corporate communication, or related roles.Good understanding of challenges in international business, investment attraction, PR, marketing, and research related to FDI, trade, and economics.Expertise in using data to analyze economic and industry-related information to assess economic impact of investments.Strong communication and presentation skills in both written and spoken English and Arabic.Ability to draft research reports.Seniority level Associate Employment type Full-time Job function Business Development, Customer Service, and Research Industries Investment Advice, International Affairs, and International Trade and Development This job posting is active.
