Credit Controller and Accounts Receivable Accountant - UAE National Join to apply for the Credit Controller and Accounts Receivable Accountant - UAE National role at The Cigna Group Summary of Role Review outstanding receivables regularly and collect all debts as per agreed credit terms. Contribute to the team’s overall success to achieve company goals.Responsibilities Manage and mitigate credit risk.Reduce debt aging for better cash flow and BDP risks.Develop and maintain relationships within client organizations to aid collections and ensure receipt forecasting accuracy.Uphold data protection and confidentiality.Resolve queries internally and externally regarding payment timing.Adhere to credit policies and maintain legal processes as per regional laws.Reconcile SOAs regularly and ensure timely allocation of receipts.Take timely actions on SOAs and receipts when needed.Increase SOA frequency and foster a strong follow-up culture to aid collections.Implement procedures for overdue payments.Handle disputed accounts, liaise with Client Managers, and negotiate payments.Lead discussions with Partners, Client Managers, and Banks for smooth progress.Maintain system integration and migration as required.Establish and review credit limits of existing customers.Liaise with finance team and provide information for audits.Submit monthly receivables aging reports and support ad hoc reports.Review and reconcile receivables with the Balance Sheet monthly.Ensure accurate allocation of payments to avoid disputes.Understand in-house software to improve daily tasks.Complete mandatory internal courses on time.Understand AML & Compliance processes per Cigna standards.Participate in office culture and engagements.Accept additional responsibilities as needed.Requirements Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.Minimum 5 years’ experience in insurance industry in UAE.Strong experience in credit control and processes.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.This role is open only to UAE Nationals.About Cigna Healthcare Cigna Healthcare, a division of The Cigna Group, advocates for better health at every life stage.
