As a Swimming Coach, you will play a crucial role in developing and enhancing the swimming skills of our clients, ranging from beginners to advanced swimmers. You will be responsible for creating tailored training programs, ensuring safety standards are met, and fostering a positive and motivating environment for all participants. Design and implement customized training programs for swimmers of all levels. Conduct regular swimming sessions, providing feedback and techniques for improvement. Help the PE teacher conduct group and individual swimming lessons for students, faculty, and staff. Independently teach swimming sessions when assigned, focusing on the development of aquatic skills and confidence in the water. Ensure the safety of all participants by adhering to safety protocols and guidelines. Work with swimmers at all skill levels to improve technique, build endurance, and enhance performance. Organize and lead swim competitions and events in collaboration with other schools and swimming clubs. Ensure the safety and well-being of all swimmers during lessons and training, both in and out of the pool. Enforce safety protocols and pool rules to maintain a secure swimming environment. Supervise behavior in changing rooms and around the facility before and after sessions. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe aquatic environment at all times. Assist with the operation of timing system hardware and software, train timing operators, and ensure effective use during events. Monitor and assess the progress of swimmers, adjusting training plans as necessary. Organize and lead swimming competitions and events. Maintain a clean and safe swimming environment. Collaborate with other coaches and staff to enhance overall program quality. Design and implement customized training programs tailored to individual swimmers’ abilities and goals. The ideal candidate should possess the following skills and qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, Education, Sports Management or a related field. Professional 2 - 3 years experience in swimming coaching or a related field. Strong knowledge of swimming techniques and training methodologies. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to motivate and inspire swimmers of all ages and skill levels. Training in aquatic sports an advantage Certification in lifeguarding and first aid is preferred. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
