ROW Supply Chain Analytics team is looking for an innovative, hands-on, and customer-obsessed Business Intelligence Engineer. The candidate must be detail-oriented, possess superior verbal and written communication skills, have strong organizational skills, excellent technical skills, and be able to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously.The BIE will bring innovation, a strategic perspective, a passionate voice, and the ability to prioritize and execute on a fast-moving set of priorities, including competitive pressures and operational initiatives. You will partner closely with program, product, and technology teams to define and build innovative and delightful experiences for customers. You must be highly analytical, able to work effectively in a matrix organization, and capable of breaking complex problems into steps that drive product development at Amazon speed.Key job responsibilities Transform data into digestible business intelligence and actionable information Write high-quality SQL code to retrieve and analyze data Automate data extraction and build monitoring/reporting dashboards with large data sets Deep dive into outlier events with internal stakeholders Solve business problems by understanding root causes and identifying forward-looking opportunities Provide complex analysis and insights to stakeholders and business leaders both verbally and in writing Support effective decision-making by aggregating data from multiple sources into a clear, actionable format Be open to learning and developing skills in the latest technologies and analytical techniques Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in BI, finance, engineering, statistics, computer science, mathematics, finance, or a related quantitative field At least 5 years of experience analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, No SQL, etc.Experience using SQL for data retrieval and scripting (Python) for data processing and modeling Experience with data modeling, warehousing, and building ETL pipelines Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Quicksight, or similar Experience with forecasting and statistical analysis Experience with AWS solutions like EC2, Dynamo DB, S3, and Redshift Experience in data mining, ETL, and using databases in a business environment with large, complex datasets Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
