French Speaker We are seeking an experienced and passionate Restaurant General Manager to lead the launch of a renowned international hospitality concept opening in Doha, Qatar. This is a key leadership role requiring a highly engaged, hands-on operator with a deep commitment to excellence in service and team development. The successful candidate will be instrumental in setting the tone for the brand’s first presence in Doha, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations, building a strong team culture, and delivering an exceptional guest experience in line with the brand’s global standards. Key Responsibilities: Operational Leadership : Oversee daily restaurant operations with a hands-on approach, ensuring high service standards and smooth execution. Guest Experience : Foster a guest-first culture, engaging with customers to create a welcoming environment. Team Development : Recruit, train, mentor, and motivate a high-performing hospitality team. Pre-Opening & Launch : Collaborate with senior leadership on all pre-opening activities, including team onboarding, SOP implementation, and supplier coordination. Service Excellence : Ensure all guest interactions meet brand standards and reflect the restaurant’s quality commitment. Flexibility & Adaptability : Respond proactively to operational challenges and adapt to evolving guest expectations. Leadership Presence : Lead by example and inspire the team through active involvement in daily operations. Qualifications: At least 5 years of progressive management experience in high-end hospitality, including a minimum of 2 years as General Manager. Experience launching or managing successful restaurants in competitive markets. Strong leadership, interpersonal skills, and a passion for team development and guest engagement. Deep understanding of service excellence in fast-paced, quality-driven environments. Highly adaptable, solutions-oriented, and comfortable in multicultural settings. Operational and financial acumen with a focus on performance driving.
