Responsibilities include supporting financial planning, budgeting, compliance, and reporting, ensuring accuracy of financial data, adherence to internal controls, and maintaining overall financial stability.Key Responsibilities Financial Reporting: Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensure accuracy and completeness of journal entries, account reconciliations, and reports. Support compliance with accounting standards (IFRS, GAAP).Accounting Operations: Oversee daily accounting activities such as accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and general ledger. Support internal controls and manage month-end and year-end closing procedures.Budgeting & Forecasting: Contribute to annual budgeting and periodic forecasts. Monitor performance versus budget, analyze variances, and recommend cost-saving strategies.Compliance & Audit: Ensure adherence to tax laws, regulations, and internal policies. Coordinate with auditors for statutory audits and ensure timely completion.Financial Analysis: Support management decision-making through financial analysis, profitability assessments, and trend evaluations.Cash Flow Management: Monitor cash flow, support bank relations, and manage liquidity to meet operational needs.Team Collaboration & Leadership: Mentor junior team members and collaborate with cross-functional teams for smooth financial operations.Ad-hoc Duties & Projects: Support special financial projects, process improvements, and stay updated with industry trends.Desired Experience Minimum 5+ years in accounting and finance, preferably in retail or corporate sectors. Proficiency in ERP systems like SAP or Oracle.
