Description
To be responsible for maintaining Club policies and procedures to assume responsibility for smooth running of the Fitness Centre. To demonstrate and instruct individuals in proper, effective, and safe resistance training techniques in accordance with biomechanical/physiological principles. To construct and demonstrate safe result-oriented programs for individuals according to their specific needs. To recognize and properly implement appropriate techniques for fitness evaluation. To help the client define fitness goals and be able to develop short and long-term schedules to achieve goals. To be responsible for showing members/guest around their individual fitness programs, demonstrating warm-up techniques and monitoring safety procedures in the gymnasium. To organize and direct safe exercise and activities for children and be able to motivate and organize competition and fun games for children and teenagers. Studies the mental, physical and emotional strengths of the participants and to ensure that they are sufficiently healthy to undertake the desired exercise. To insist on medical certificate if there is any doubt. To report and record rescues and other incidents. To record the fitness centre s usage by using the gym entrance sign-in log. To make a general check of overall fitness centre history and individual exercise programs advising limitation and dangers. To inspect the weights and equipment and to make sure that they are kept in a safe and orderly way. To maintain general conditions, check all gymnasium equipment and report any missing or damaged items to the club reception and club supervisor. To take appropriate safety precaution when any of the equipment is not functioning properly by putting up a warning sign out order/ under maintenance. Desired Candidate Profile Qualifications Minimum 1 2 years of experience in a gym or fitness setting. Certified Fitness Instructor or Personal Trainer CPR and First Aid certified Strong knowledge of anatomy, exercise techniques, and basic nutrition. Ability to create and lead personalized and group workout programs. Excellent communication and motivational skills. Age 20 to 35. Good command of English Language Physically fit and able to demonstrate various exercises correctly. Friendly, professional, and client-focused attitude.
