The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the procurement operations of Indusland Logistics. This includes overseeing the procurement of goods and services, negotiating with suppliers, managing contracts, and ensuring timely delivery of materials. The Procurement Manager will work closely with internal teams to identify and implement cost-efficient procurement strategies, while maintaining high quality standards.Key Responsibilities: – Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with the company’s overall goals and objectives.– Identify potential suppliers and evaluate their products and services to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and reliability.– Negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best possible terms and prices for goods and services.– Work closely with internal teams to understand their procurement needs and requirements.– Manage the procurement process from purchase order to delivery, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of materials.– Monitor market trends and changes in pricing, availability, and quality of products and services to make informed procurement decisions.– Maintain and update records of all procurement activities, including vendor information, contracts, and purchase orders.– Review and approve purchase requests, ensuring they adhere to the company’s procurement policies and procedures.– Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and resolve any issues that may arise.– Conduct regular performance evaluations of suppliers and identify areas for improvement.– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess and improve supply chain efficiency.– Ensure compliance with all legal and ethical standards in procurement processes.Qualifications: – Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.– Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the logistics industry.– In-depth knowledge of procurement processes, including sourcing, bidding, and contract negotiations.– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.– Excellent negotiation and communication skills.– Proficient in Microsoft Office and procurement software.– Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.– Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.– Proven track record of cost reduction and supply chain optimization.– Professional certifications in procurement or supply chain management (e.g. CSCP, CPSM) is a plus.Join Our Team: At Indusland Logistics, we value diversity and seek to attract, develop, and retain the best talent in the industry.
