PRINCIPAL PETROLEUM ENGINEER (WI)
Description
Primary Purpose of the Job Provide expert advice to Well Integrity to resolve well integrity problems for both Active and P&A wells in the Offshore fields. Conduct relevant studies related to well integrity and support the design review for the new wells. Recommend barrier isolation requirements for wells planned for abandonment. Search and evaluate innovative technology to improve Well Integrity diagnostic and repair techniques. Required Experience and Skills Minimum 20+ years work experience as a Petroleum Engineer in the oil and gas upstream industry. Petroleum Engineering expertise including drilling, well completion, workover, and well integrity studies and review of large and mature oil and gas fields. Knowledge of HAZOP techniques to identify and mitigate well integrity risks and experience facilitating risk assessment workshops. Hands-on experience with Well Integrity Management Software (WIMS). Must be familiar with ISO, API, and NORSOK International Standards related to Well Integrity Management. Experience with the interpretation of cased hole diagnostic logs. Educational Qualifications BSc. Petroleum Engineering, preferably MSc. Petroleum Engineering.#J-18808-Ljbffr
