Job Title: Telecom Engineer Qualification: Bachelor of Technology/Engineering (Electronics/Telecommunication)Nationality: Any Nationality Vacancy: 1 Vacancy Job Description Expected: MSc, MEng or equivalent professional qualification or BSc, BEng or equivalent with extensive relevant experience Chartered Engineer or recognized equivalent experience Minimum of 15 years' experience in IT / Telecom field including Security & Safety, wired & wireless communication in Oil & Gas Projects, with extensive knowledge in LAN & WAN, ACS, CCTV, FOC, IDS, PAGA, Hotline systems, F&G, and IP telephony Demonstrable balance of industrial experience at relevant level and position Experience in engineering Design, FEED, detailed Engineering, and Costing estimation for Telecom system proposals Responsible for engineering documentation activities such as block diagrams, functional design specifications, datasheets, MR, equipment layouts, interconnection and termination drawings, cabinet drawings Participation in technical bid evaluations, vendor document review, and approvals Technical competence in own discipline with ongoing professional development Provide discipline support to the business Awareness of relevant regulatory frameworks, legislation, industry initiatives, and technology developments; promote this knowledge to team members Contribute to scope definition and project execution Deputize for the principal as required Support and supervise delegated tasks Achieve personal objectives Manage third-party suppliers during engineering delivery Follow discipline-specific procedures and suggest improvements Participate in audits and incident investigations Coach and mentor team members as delegated Contribute to performance management of direct reports Disclaimer: Naukrigulf.com is a platform connecting jobseekers and employers.
