QA/QC Manager

Direct message the job poster from NCC Holding The ideal candidate will be responsible for the implementation and management of the Quality Control-Quality Assurance Program in addition to the coordination, performance and completion of all construction inspection and testing services of a project. Candidate is accountable for the guarantee of the work performed as well as meets the project's contractual requirements set forth by the client.Responsibilities Manage and oversee project quality to ensure compliance to codes, standards, regulations, equipment specifications and QMS requirement.Advancing quality achievement and performance improvement throughout the organization.Manage the development and implementation of the QMS for planning, fabrication, inspection, documentation and operations activities including: planning duties within the QA/QC staff and related work schedules, establishing service standards for end users, identifying and developing QA/QC personnel certification requirements and training needs and providing leadership, mentorship and direction of all QA/QC personnel.Ensure that work is carried out fully in accordance with the project quality standards specified n the contract and the procedures laid down in the Project Quality Plan to achieve these standards are followed.Oversee supervision of all visual inspections and NDE (non-destructive evaluation) including 3rd party subcontractors, testing plans for new construction, repair work and alterations.Develop and maintain quality documentation including standard operating procedures, comprehensive project-specific QC plans and quality manuals.Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement to ensure compliance with quality standards.Conduct daily field inspections, verified delivered materials comply with approved submittals.Verify the quality of materials and equipment supplied; approve suppliers and ensure proper storage and handling.Provide and review submittals, RFI logs, maintenance logs and other project related materials in a timely manner; Conduct daily field inspections, verified delivered materials comply with approved submittals.Prepare QC punch lists and coordinate punch list completion with the team, subcontractors and suppliers.Practices the company's established Hygiene Policy and Procedures. Adheres to company's IMS System and related rules and regulations.Controls the cost of all utility related actions ( Gas, Water, Electricity and Waste Water ).Actively seeks out opportunities to learn and develop.Actively promotes learning and development in others.Proactively keeps up to date with own knowledge / learning by reading, and attending seminars/ conferences.Empowers individuals and/or colleagues by appropriately delegating work which challenges them and provides stretching but realistic targets.Innovative in facilitating learning opportunities.Actively provides coaching, training and mentoring to individuals.Ensuring a ‘customer focused’ approach is implemented in own area.
