Job Description: Site Engineer (Roads)Qatar Parsons is seeking an experienced Site Engineer (Roads) to join our team. In this role, you will manage daily site operations related to road construction, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards. What You'll Be Doing: Oversee all road construction activities, ensuring compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and regulations.Coordinate with design and construction teams for smooth execution of road works, including grading, paving, drainage, and signage.Monitor progress, identify potential delays or issues, and take corrective actions to keep the project on track.Conduct site inspections to ensure quality and compliance with design.Document all road works, including progress, safety, and quality reports.Manage site safety, ensuring adherence to protocols and risk minimization.Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders for timely material and service delivery.Assist with testing and commissioning to meet quality and functionality standards before handover. What Required Skills You'll Bring: Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university.At least 10 years of experience in road construction supervision, including 5 years in site engineering for large infrastructure projects.Experience managing road works such as grading, paving, and drainage.Strong knowledge of road construction standards, codes, and regulations.Proficiency in MS Office and project management software (e.g., Primavera, MS Project).Fluent in English with excellent communication skills.MME certification is required.
