Description
Expertise and Responsibilities: Expert in preparing various types of sushi, including nigiri, sashimi, makimono rolls, temaki, and other traditional Japanese dishes. Creates unique rolls and dishes using seasonal ingredients and inventive presentation. Ensures high attention to detail in plating, maintaining consistent and beautiful presentation according to standards. Possesses strong interpersonal skills for occasional customer engagement at the sushi bar, maintaining professionalism. Provides excellent customer service, exceeding expectations with a positive 'Yes I Can!' attitude. Communicates effectively with customers, co-workers, and supervisors. Demonstrates teamwork by cooperating and assisting colleagues as needed. Qualifications: Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role within a 4- or 5-star hotel or recognized sushi bar. Knowledge of traditional sushi preparation, knife skills, and fish handling. Understanding of Japanese cuisine, traditions, and etiquette. Expertise in preparing perfect sushi rice and attractive presentation. Ability to interact professionally and friendly with guests. Physical stamina to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment for extended hours. High attention to detail and creativity in sushi creation and fusion dishes. Age between 20 to 25 years.
