Through public-private partnerships and contractual schemes, Veolia is committed to achieving measurable results with pragmatic environmental solutions.Key figures : More than 3,000 employees in the Near & Middle East (plus 5,000 for Enova, reporting directly to Veolia AMO, for Facility Management and Energy Efficiency contracts in the ME)A strong local network across the region (UAE, Oman, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, KSA, Lebanon, Jordan, Turkey)30 years of sustainable partnerships with over 6,000 references Job Description Responsibilities : Conduct scoping and feasibility reviews for mechanical systems, including piping, rotating equipment, burners, and boilers.Review and evaluate mechanical designs to ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards for hazardous waste incineration plants, such as API and ASME codes.Provide technical expertise during design reviews, offering recommendations for optimization and improvement.Collaborate with the engineering team to integrate mechanical systems with other project components, ensuring seamless operation.Supervise construction activities, including installation, commissioning, and testing of mechanical systems, ensuring adherence to design specifications and safety standards.Conduct periodic site inspections, coordinate with contractors, and resolve issues during construction.Participate in project meetings to monitor progress, address challenges, and ensure timely completion of deliverables.Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.Approximately 10 years of experience in mechanical engineering, focusing on scoping, design review, and construction supervision.Experience in brownfield projects and industrial processes.Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles and standards.Familiarity with codes and standards for hazardous waste incineration plants.Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.Professional engineering license preferred.Additional Information As an inclusive company, Veolia is committed to diversity and considers all applications equally, without discrimination.J-18808-Ljbffr #J-18808-Ljbffr
