MEP draftman

Location: Khobar, Saudi Arabia Company: AFIFI CONTEmployment Type: Full-time Working Hours: 48 hours per week About the Role AFIFI CONT is seeking a talented and detail-oriented MEP Draftsmanto join our engineering and construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing accurate technical drawings for Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP)systems in various construction projects. This position requires precision, coordination, and a strong understanding of MEP standards to ensure all designs comply with project specifications, building codes, and industry best practices.Key Responsibilities Drafting and Design: Prepare detailed and precise working plans, shop drawings, and as-built drawings for mechanical (HVAC, plumbing), electrical (lighting, power), and fire-fighting systems.Software Proficiency: Use Auto CAD and Revit (BIM) software to create and update 2D and 3D technical drawings.Coordination: Work closely with engineers, architects, and project managers to gather requirements, integrate designs, and resolve conflicts between systems.Quality Assurance: Review and verify drawings for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with specifications, codes, and standards.Documentation: Maintain organized drawing records, manage revision histories, and ensure up-to-date versions are distributed to relevant stakeholders.Modification and Revision: Update drawings based on markups, design changes, and site conditions.Additional Tasks: Support in preparing schedules, quantity take-offs, and construction documentation as needed.Required Skills and Qualifications Proficiency in Auto CAD and/or Revit software.Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems .Familiarity with building codes , industry standards , and regulatory requirements .High attention to detail, accuracy, and organization.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Ability to read, understand, and interpret technical and engineering drawings .
