Quantity Surveyor – Steel

Position: Quantity Surveyor – Steel & Metal Projects Employment Type: (Full-time/Contract)Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor with strong expertise in steel and metal works. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, managing project budgets, and ensuring financial compliance throughout the project lifecycle. Prior experience in similar projects is essential.Key Responsibilities: Prepare detailed cost estimates and quantity take-offs for steel and metal works.Review and analyze project specifications, drawings, and material requirements.Monitor project budgets, expenditures, and progress, ensuring cost control.Prepare tender submissions and evaluate subcontractor quotations.Collaborate with the project team, suppliers, and contractors for commercial coordination.Maintain accurate records of all financial and contractual documentation.Assist in claims, variations, and financial reporting as required.Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.Minimum (X) years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in steel and metal projects.Strong knowledge of cost estimating, tendering, and contract management.Familiarity with Gulf region standards (if applicable).Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.Proficiency in MS Office and relevant estimating software.Job Type: Full-time Pay: QAR4, QAR6,000.00 per month
