Senior Study Abroad consultant

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Senior Counsellor / Team Lead to manage and mentor a team of counsellors handling student applications for overseas education. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of international education systems, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for guiding students toward their global academic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead, mentor, and train a team of education counsellors to achieve targets and deliver excellent student service.

Oversee end-to-end student counselling for study abroad destinations (e.g., USA, UK, Canada, Australia, Europe).

Supervise daily counselling operations including student profiling, shortlisting universities, application support, and visa guidance.

Ensure high-quality counselling standards and compliance with company policies.

Support counsellors with complex student cases and provide solutions.

Track team performance, set targets, and implement strategies to increase conversions.

Build and maintain strong relationships with universities, partner institutions, and internal stakeholders.

Keep the team updated with latest admission trends, deadlines, scholarships, and immigration updates.

Handle escalations and ensure smooth resolution of client concerns.

Generate regular reports on pipeline, applications, offers, and conversions.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or higher (Education, Business, or related field preferred).

Minimum 4–6 years of experience in overseas education counselling, with at least 1–2 years in a leadership role.

Strong knowledge of international education systems (USA, UK, Canada, Australia, etc.).

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Proven ability to lead teams, manage targets, and maintain high service quality.

Proficiency with CRM tools and student management systems preferred.
