Business Study Teaching Specialist

Job Purpose:

To deliver high-quality instruction in business subjects, including Business Communication, Entrepreneurship, and related courses, while managing academic schedules and supporting teaching faculty to ensure smooth departmental operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Teach Business Communication, Entrepreneurship, and other business-related subjects as assigned.

Prepare and deliver engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and learning objectives.

Assess student performance through assignments, projects, exams, and provide constructive feedback.

Encourage an interactive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student participation and critical thinking.

Stay updated with the latest trends and developments in business education and incorporate them into teaching.

Collaborate with academic colleagues to develop and enhance the curriculum.

Mentor and support students to help improve their academic performance and career readiness.

Create and manage teaching schedules for business studies courses ensuring balanced workload and timely delivery of classes.

Coordinate and support other teaching faculty within the department, facilitating communication, resource sharing, and resolving academic-related issues.

Participate in departmental meetings, training, and professional development activities.

Qualifications:

Minimum MBA degree from a recognized institution.

Minimum 3 years of teaching experience in business studies., preferably in higher education.

Prior experience teaching Business Development, Business Communication, and Entrepreneurship is highly preferred.

Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Ability to use educational technology and scheduling tools effectively.
