Assistant Survey Electronics Engineer
Description
Key Responsibilities: Assist the project survey team with various tasks, including mobilization, calibration, execution, deliverables, and project closeout Collaborate closely with line supervisors to ensure accurate and timely data collection and survey execution Assist in the installation and troubleshooting of survey equipment, hardware, and software Prepare and maintain accurate survey records and documentation Perform routine maintenance on survey equipment Follow defined policies and procedures to ensure effective, efficient, and professional functioning of the survey division Comply with QA/HSE requirements and procedures Promote and ensure compliance with the organization's Health & Safety policies Actively participate in the safety program, with the understanding that safety is a fundamental part of every employee's role Perform tasks outside the scope of this role as required by operational needs Configure and deploy survey electronic systems for field operations Conduct routine maintenance, calibration, and repair of electronic equipment Independently acquire, process, and quality-check survey data Ensure adherence to project specifications and survey standards• Provide technical support and training to junior team members• Assist in developing and implementing improvements to survey electronics workflows• Manage inventory and procurement of electronic components• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, or a related field Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role within the industry Experience in dredging and civil marine projects is highly preferred
