CNC Machine Operator

We are a leading furniture manufacturing company seeking an experienced CNC Machine Tool Operator to join our team. In this role, you will operate CNC routers and woodworking machinery to produce high-quality furniture parts. You will be responsible for machine setup, operation, basic programming adjustments, and ensuring all components meet our quality standards.This position is ideal for someone with a strong background in woodworking and CNC operation, who takes pride in craftsmanship and attention to detail.Key Responsibilities: CNC Operation: Set up and operate CNC machines for wood-based furniture components; load and secure materials like wood panels and boards.Quality & Accuracy: Read and interpret blueprints, cut sheets, and production drawings; perform in-process inspections using measuring tools (calipers, tape measures, squares).Maintenance & Monitoring: Monitor machine operations, make adjustments as needed, and perform routine machine maintenance and cleaning.Teamwork & Safety: Collaborate with team members to meet production schedules, maintain accurate production records, follow safety guidelines, and keep the work area clean.Requirements: CNC Expertise: Strong knowledge of CNC machine setup, operation, and basic troubleshooting.Woodworking Knowledge: Familiarity with woodworking tools, materials, and machining processes; ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.Technical Skills: Basic understanding of G-code or CNC software; experience with CAD/CAM is a plus. Physically able to lift wood materials and stand for extended periods.Work Ethic & Education: Detail-oriented, reliable, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
