Our Product Integrity team aims to develop reliable and robust products that delight our customers. Ring is seeking a Hardware Validation Engineer who will play a crucial role in ensuring our products meet the highest standards of quality, reliability, and performance. Key job responsibilities Develop and implement detailed validation plans tailored to specific hardware designs. Collaborate with design teams to understand and test against product requirements. Analyze and interpret data from validation tests, offering insights and recommendations. Design and automate testing procedures to improve efficiency. Document validation processes, findings, and insights in a structured and clear manner. Maintain, calibrate, and oversee the use of validation equipment to guarantee consistent results. Work cross-functionally to troubleshoot and address any hardware issues identified during validation. A day in the life As a hardware validation engineer, your main job is to ensure our products are of the highest quality for our customers. You will set up and run tests on hardware products to verify their functionality. Analyzing test results will help identify areas for improvement. You will also document all findings clearly, contributing to our commitment to customer satisfaction and quality standards. Our team is committed to excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or related fields. Minimum of 5 years of experience in product development within an R&D environment. Strong understanding of schematics and PCB layouts, with the ability to review and analyze circuit designs. Proficiency in hardware design software such as Altium 365, Cadence, or similar e CAD tools. Experience in creating and executing hardware test plans and technical documentation skills. Hands-on experience with lab test equipment like oscilloscopes and multimeters. Strong problem-solving skills for hardware failure analysis and corrective actions. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Experience in New Product Introduction (NPI) and understanding of product lifecycle management. Experience in RF Testing, Signal Integrity, Power Integrity, or Acoustic Testing. Experience working with Contract Manufacturing. Collaborative experience with design, firmware, software, and manufacturing teams. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python. We promote an inclusive culture.
