Junior Accountant (Tagalog Speaker)

Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented General Accountant to manage and maintain financial records, perform reconciliations, and ensure compliance with internal and external financial regulations. The ideal candidate has solid accounting knowledge, practical experience with financial systems, and a strong sense of ownership over their work. Key Responsibilities: Maintain the general ledger and prepare journal entries. Reconcile bank accounts, vendor accounts, and other balance sheet accounts. Handle day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable and receivable. Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes. Prepare financial statements and management reports. Monitor and ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies. Support internal and external audit processes. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Ensure timely payment of taxes and support tax filing activities. Maintain and improve accounting systems and processes. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 2–4 years of relevant accounting experience. Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., Quick Books, SAP, Oracle, or Tally). Strong understanding of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS). Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel. High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
