Director of Internal IT Operations

About the opportunity Design and implement the IT strategy for the company in alignment with the Delivery Hero strategy, covering device and license acquisition, networking, security, and SSO. Define an IT roadmap to support the company's international growth. Oversee the IT budget and provide monthly forecasts. Manage IT projects and initiatives. Operate production systems for Vo IP and IVR, and upgrade the internal network to interconnect all headquarters, local offices, and t Marts. Collaborate closely with HR and Tech departments. Automate key processes such as employee onboarding/offboarding, asset management, and access administration. Develop and implement an account and permissions management strategy with the Delivery Hero ETS team. Enforce security strategies for employee devices. Implement IT solutions to meet compliance standards like PCI. Lead proof-of-concept initiatives for new products beneficial to talabat. Enhance the help-desk service to assist employees with IT issues. Manage vendor relationships, overseeing budget and efficiency. Lead and manage a distributed regional team. What you need to be successful Excellent communication skills in English; Arabic is a plus. Flexibility and adaptability; comfortable with unstructured environments and rapid decision-making. At least 5 years of experience managing an IT team in a mid-sized company with multiple offices. Experience deploying endpoint protection software and security policies. Proficiency in at least one programming language and scripting. Experience with automation and integrations; hands-on role. Experience with cloud providers such as AWS. Deep understanding of IAM/SSO solutions. Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
