Key Responsibilities Perform comprehensive eye examinations to diagnose and treat various eye conditions. Conduct surgical procedures, including cataract surgery, corneal transplants, and laser procedures. Develop individualized treatment plans based on thorough assessments and patient history. Provide pre-operative and post-operative care, ensuring optimal recovery for patients. Educate patients about eye health, treatment options, and preventative care practices. Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care. Document patient information and treatment plans accurately in compliance with healthcare regulations. Stay updated on the latest advancements in ophthalmology through continuous professional development. Medical degree with a specialization in Ophthalmology. Active and valid medical license to practice ophthalmology. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a Consultant Ophthalmologist position. Proven ability in performing a variety of surgical procedures related to ophthalmology. Strong diagnostic skills with a thorough understanding of eye health and diseases. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with patients and staff. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a healthcare team. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. Fluency in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
