About the business area -Group Compliance & Governance: Compliance is an independent function at ADCB which takes an active approach to risk management and monitoring, ensuring the Bank complies with applicable laws, regulations, rules and market standards. The Group creates, implements and monitors policies and procedures designed to prevent or detect financial crime and any compliance breaches of the Bank, its employees and clients. It also monitors and measures the impact of conduct risk and compliance on the Bank’s risk appetite and profile. In this role, your key responsibilities include: Support the execution of the annual compliance assurance plan in coordination with the Compliance Assurance Manager. Conduct monitoring and testing of business processes and control environments to evaluate adherence to regulatory obligations and internal policies. Support thematic reviews in order to evaluate the effectiveness of key controls from design and operating effectiveness perspective. Draft clear and concise reports outlining findings, root causes, and recommendations for corrective actions. Help tracking and follow up on the implementation of remedial actions to ensure timely resolution. Maintain and update monitoring/testing working papers and documentation to support audit and regulatory review. Assist in implementing and refining the Assurance methodology and testing scripts. Monitor regulatory developments and emerging risks to inform assurance activities. Collaborate with first-line risk and compliance teams to share insights and best practices. Escalate material findings to her Manager/ Review Lead as appropriate. The ideal candidate should have the following experience Min. 5 years of experience in compliance, risk management, internal audit, or a related assurance function within a regulated industry (e.g., financial services). Bachelor’s Degree in relevant specialization Direct experience conducting assurance reviews, compliance monitoring / testing activities, or audit engagements. Familiarity with regulatory frameworks relevant to the industry (e.g., CBUAE, SCA, etc.). Experience working with internal stakeholders across business units and functions. Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Power Point) What we offer: Competitive Salary: The indicated pay range for this role is 17,500 – 23,000 AED per month.
