Learn more about our career opportunities at : As a Senior Design Manager , you will lead and manage the design process throughout the project lifecycle. You will collaborate closely with clients, design consultants, and stakeholders to ensure project objectives align with client requirements and expectations. You will support the Programme Director / Design Director or Senior Project Manager in ensuring scope delivery meets Atkins Réalis and client expectations. Responsibilities : Ensure adherence to Atkins Réalis processes, forms, and deliverables, as well as applicable client processes. Assist in developing scope of services for Lead Design Consultants (LDC). Manage and support the procurement of Design Consultants. Develop and implement the Design Management Plan (DMP). Create a design responsibility matrix to clarify roles among Client, PMC, Design Consultants, and stakeholders. Assist in developing the Project Quality Plan. Manage LDCs to ensure quality, timely, and budget-compliant deliverables that meet client expectations. Oversee Design Consultant activities during the project cycle, including planning, organizing, and directing activities. Serve as the management lead for project design, technical reviews, and interface coordination. Act as the primary contact between the client and the LDC team, facilitating effective communication. Manage the design process, including progress meetings, stage gate submissions, and approvals. Review consultant deliverables for compliance with project and client requirements. Assist in stakeholder invitations, agenda setting, meeting minutes, and presentations. Coordinate with document controllers to maintain project information in Share Point. Support change management processes, including risk management, schedule monitoring, and coordination with project controls and LDCs. Manage BIM requirements in collaboration with the BIM manager. Oversee sustainability compliance with LEED standards, supported by our LEED team. Develop statutory approval workflows aligned with client and authority requirements. Prepare technical documentation for construction tenders. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications : 10-15 years of experience as a design manager, preferably on hospitality projects. Bachelor's or master's degree in architecture. LEED experience is advantageous. Previous regional experience, preferably in Saudi Arabia. Ability to work in a team and be client-facing.
