Frontend Developer (WebGL / 3D / GIS)

We are a leader in the development and manufacturing of innovative drones, located in the Silicon Oasis area of Dubai. We are developing a drone-in-a-box solution for critical infrastructure & perimeter surveillance. The heart of the system is server-side software that puts together drones, landing stations, client computers, and other devices. Users have full control over any drone connected to the system, including live video streaming. Operation of the system is highly automated, server software controls all operations: performing flights according to schedule, battery swap, preflight checks, missions uploading, downloading high resolution data after flight, and many other necessary things. A typical setup may count up to 100 drones-in-a-box. We develop all mechanics, electronics, on-board and ground software ourselves, which allows us to effectively integrate all components with each other and quickly solve issues and implement new features. As a (ANON) developer, you will be at the forefront of developing UTM and GIS software for our industrial UAVs and Di B. We have our own UTM and we use the Open Globus engine for visualizing maps and 3D tiles. A large part of your job will be customizing the engine and integrating new features into the UTM. This position requires a deep understanding of 3D graphics and Web GL. Team Time Zone: (UTC+ 4), Dubai, UAE. Department: Engineering. Reports to: (ANON). In this role you will: Development of the new features for the GIS engine. Integration of these features into our UTM. General UTM development (i.e. UI and integration of new Di B/backend features). Write tests. About you : Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field. 3+ years of experience in 3D graphics and Web GL. 3+ years of experience with UTM/GIS software (like Cesium JS). Excellent understanding of geometry and strong mathematical background. Strong knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3. Ability to optimize and enhance the performance.
