Learning and Talent Partner, MEA Department: Learning, Leadership and Talent (HR) Location: Dubai (minimum 3 days in the office) with travel requirements (~10%) to offices across MEA region, particularly Jeddah and Riyadh. Scope: Middle East and Africa Region Reports to: Global Head of Learning and Talent Line management responsibility: 1 Learning and Talent Advisor Budget responsibility: Yes The Team The Global Learning & Talent team serves over 5,000 people from 60 offices, providing specialist advice and learning solutions across a broad remit including professional core skills training, continuing legal education, talent development programs, coaching, career development initiatives, and practice area or business specific requirements. The Role This role serves as a strategic partner to the MEA region in designing and delivering effective learning solutions while supporting strategic global HR priorities and ensuring operational excellence. Reporting to the Global Head of Learning and Development, therole will apply thought leadership, project management, and facilitation skills to design and deliver talent programmes and business change initiatives across learning, leadership and talent. Deep expertise in managing, designing, and delivering across all phases of the learning cycle, including ROI and learning metrics, is essential. The role collaborates closely with the Regional Head of HR, local HR Business Partners (HRBPs), the Global Learning, Leadership, and Talent team, and regional Practice Group stakeholders to identify and address specific learning and talent development needs, equipping stakeholder groups with essential professional development and behavioural skills. Key Responsibilities Regularly engage with key regional stakeholders to align business priorities with global learning and talent projects. Review existing talent mapping initiatives, analyse data to identify gaps and opportunities for development, and integrate findings into talent development strategies with HR Business Partners. Design and deliver engaging and relevant learning solutions for diverse audiences, partnering with external suppliers where required and ensuring alignment with global content. Design a strategy and approach for delivering team development days to drive higher performance and build cohesive teams across the region. Ensure high quality learning administration support from the central service centre (UK based) complies with regional and regulatory requirements. Provide line‑management support to the Learning and Talent Advisor, facilitating professional growth and performance management. Oversee delivery and impact of the second phase of the hybrid KSA Trainee Programme with the Global Learning and Talent team and stakeholders. Provide project management and support to the Global Learning and Talent strategic priorities. Review effectiveness of existing global talent programmes and identify gaps in key career milestones of high‑potential talent. Draw insights from metrics to enhance initiatives and make commercial decisions about future investments. Oversee the firm’s external coaching offering and internal mentoring capability. Hold budget management responsibility for regional learning and development costs. Oversee contracting and negotiations with key external suppliers in the region, aligning with global requirements. Provide regular progress reports to regional and global leadership. Essential Skills & Experience Experienced learning and development professional at Manager/Business Partner level with experience in professional services. Demonstrated skills in facilitating and designing learning curricula and leadership programmes using up‑to‑date methodologies and technologies, tailored to specific audiences. Proven track record partnering with external suppliers and managing relationships. Experience managing and allocating budgets for learning and talent development initiatives. Prior experience working with regional and global cross‑functional teams undergoing significant transformation and modernisation. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to partner, advise and influence at all levels. Strategically minded with strong attention to detail. Self‑starter able to perform with minimal supervision. Comfortable working at pace in ambiguous situations with strong project‑management and pragmatic approach. Accreditation with psychometric tools desirable (e.g., Discovery Insights, Hogan).
