Web Editor (Bilingual Content Editor)

Responsibilities Ensure the timely delivery of translated and edited materials from English to Dari and vice versa. Ensure a high quality of work with Dari translations reflecting an accurate portrayal of the meaning found in the English source documents. Ensure high-quality editing of documents in Dari. Editing contains literature, spelling, grammar, and all types of corrections. Flexibility in working extra hours to meet deadlines. Flexibility to work the night shift. Ability to analyze summaries and translate discussions. Preparing the daily, weekly, and monthly reports and submitting them to the line manager. Responsible for analyzing and editing all translated scripts and dialogue in line with specific program outlines and channel requirements. Assist journalists and producers with appropriate translations of program copies, scripts, official documents, and project-related materials. Uploading content to websites. Uploading of content to social media platforms. Perform other duties as requested by the manager.
