Derivatives Clearing and Execution Sales Job purpose: To join a busy broking desk using established contacts to help grow business and seek new customers and opportunities. To integrate into an established team and enhance product offering to new and existing client base. Overview Develop new business & On-Board customers to trade commodities & other products. Service and provide trade execution services for the existing client base. General Duties Establish market relationships Generate new business revenue for Stone X Financial Ltd through client on-boarding and internal cross-selling opportunities. Develop fundamental expertise in commodities markets and maintain an up-to-date knowledge of the products and markets in which you work. Continually drive the Stone X Brand, actively solicit feedback from industry participants through various means, including trade calls, surveys, industry events, trade shows and conferences. Identify new markets, products, technologies and opportunities. Understand the desk’s business strategy and continually improve the operating model. Participate in pre- and post-trading operational duties including trade reconciliation, trade booking, etc. in compliance with regulations and internal company policies. Execute & On-Board OTC & Listed customers. Maintain awareness of the risk and compliance culture and comply with company policies for which you have any level of responsibility. Exercise independent judgement and act with integrity, responsibility, skill and diligence to avoid conflicts of interest and elevate issues as appropriate. Understand the risks and controls on your desk; what could go wrong, what controls you must prevent/detect or contain these. Escalate risk events immediately and log them within 24 hours via appropriate channels. Report all loss events, or near misses that could have resulted in a loss, in excess of the reporting threshold. Observe standards of market conduct and ensure you are aware of, understand and comply with all regulatory, exchange or clearing house requirements applicable to your role. Complete any mandatory training by the required deadlines. Qualifications This role will require FCA approval or achievement of FCA approved status (within 3 months). Fluency in any European language an advantage.
