Linux OpenShift Engineer
Description
Responsibilities Architect, design, and implement enterprise-grade solutions based on Red Hat and Open Shift Container Platform.Develop and maintain automation playbooks using Ansible for deployment, configuration management, and orchestration.Lead the Dev Ops transformation initiatives using CI/CD pipelines and container-based platforms.Provide architectural oversight, best practices, and governance on cloud-native application deployments.Conduct platform lifecycle management including upgrades, patching, monitoring, and performance tuning.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate infrastructure with applications and middleware.Drive cloud modernization and migration strategies aligned with business goals.Act as a Red Hat SME for troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and resolution of critical issues.Produce and maintain detailed design documents, SOPs, and technical standards.Required Skills & Experience: Minimum 8 years of overall IT experience, with at least 5 years in cloud & container platforms.Proven hands-on expertise in Open Shift environments (Installation, Configuration, Scaling, Troubleshooting).Strong experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and related ecosystems.Proficiency in Ansible for IT automation and Terraform for infrastructure as code.Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git Lab CI, Argo CD).Experience working with Dev Ops practices, microservices architecture, and containerization.Knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm.Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.Red Hat Certifications (RHCE, RHCSA, EX280, EX210, etc.) are a strong plus.Experience in hybrid cloud or multi-cloud environments Exposure to security hardening and compliance frameworks Familiarity with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.) #J-18808-Ljbffr
