We are seeking a skilled Structural Draftsman to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. You will create detailed structural drawings and plans for construction projects, working with structural engineers and architects to ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements. Responsibilities Prepare and modify structural drawings using CAD software, primarily Auto CAD and Revit Interpret architectural and engineering designs to create accurate structural plans Collaborate with structural engineers to ensure drawings meet project specifications and building codes Perform calculations and analyze structural components to support design decisions Create detailed drawings of structural elements, including foundations, beams, columns, and connections Review and update existing drawings as needed throughout the project lifecycle Maintain organized digital and physical files of all project-related drawings and documents Assist in preparing material lists and quantity takeoffs for cost estimation purposes Stay updated on local building regulations and industry standards in Dubai and the UAE Participate in project meetings and communicate effectively with team members and clients Qualifications Associate's degree or diploma in Structural Drafting, Civil Engineering, or a related field Minimum 2-3 years of experience in structural drafting Proficiency in CAD software, particularly Auto CAD and Revit Strong knowledge of structural engineering principles and practices Excellent ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings Advanced mathematical and analytical skills Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in work Good communication skills, both verbal and written Understanding of building codes and standards, with specific knowledge of local regulations in Dubai and the UAE Familiarity with various construction materials and methods Auto CAD certification is preferred Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and meet project deadlines Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Additional Information Ability to work using modeling software such as Revit, Auto CAD, Plant 3D Ability to use clash detection software such as Navisworks Strong engineering background in both mechanical and electrical fields Fair knowledge of MEP & HVAC system components and uses Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Full-time Job function Design, Art/Creative, and Information Technology Industries IT Services and IT Consulting Compliance with policies and procedures is based on the ISO standards adopted by CNS. #J-18808-Ljbffr
