The role will focus on merchant acquisition, partnership development, and localized growth initiatives, building a stronger brand presence while expanding our user and merchant base in fast-growing regions.Key Responsibilities Design and implement strategies to acquire and onboard merchants across target regions.Build and maintain a growth pipeline aligned with business objectives.Develop regional action plans and oversee budgets for merchant recruitment.Drive adoption through targeted online and offline campaigns.Market Development & Partnerships Establish partnerships with local stakeholders, payment providers, and community groups.Enhance brand visibility and expand reach through strategic collaborations.Organize events and campaigns to showcase our solutions and attract new users.Experience & Service Optimization Gather insights from merchants and users to improve service delivery.Adapt offerings to meet regional demands and expectations.Track competitor activity and market dynamics to strengthen positioning.Execution & Performance Management Oversee onboarding processes and ensure seamless merchant engagement.Monitor key performance metrics and continuously optimize strategies.Ensure alignment of regional execution with overall growth goals.Community & Awareness Building Work with local partners, associations, and influencers to build trust and visibility.Coordinate community-driven initiatives to deepen user and merchant engagement.Cultivate long-term partnerships that establish a strong foothold in each market.Requirements2+ years of experience in business development or market expansion, with proven success in merchant acquisition or growth in at least one of the target regions.Strong understanding of regional market dynamics and merchant engagement strategies.Established network across merchants, local business communities, or ecosystem partners.Track record in developing strategic plans, managing budgets, and executing campaigns.Excellent negotiation, relationship management, and communication skills.Fluent in English and at least one local language of the target regions.Self-driven, results-oriented, and adaptable to fast-paced, global environments.Preferred Qualifications Experience in P2P, fintech, crypto/web3, payments, or digital financial services.Knowledge of local compliance and regulatory considerations in emerging markets Demonstrated success in community engagement or partnership-driven growth.Strong professional network in at least one focus region.Role details Seniority level: Mid-Senior level Employment type: Full-time Job function: Project Management, Business Development, and Product Management Industries: IT Services and IT Consulting, Financial Services, and Banking #J-18808-Ljbffr
