Join Our Team: Senior Engineer Network Planning – Water at Etihad WEWe are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Engineer Network Planning – Water. In this key role, you will develop and implement strategic plans for the water transmission & distribution network infrastructure. This includes planning and optimizing systems for water supply, distribution, and wastewater management. This involves ensuring that the network infrastructure supports Etihad WE goals, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency.Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement strategic plans for the expansion, upgrade, and optimization of water network infrastructure, including water supply, transmission & distribution systems.Conduct feasibility studies, technical analyses, and network modelling to support planning decisions and recommendations.Analyse data related to the performance of water networks to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.Create and maintain long-term plans for water network development, including infrastructure upgrades, new installations, and network rehabilitation.Align long-term planning strategies with Etihad WE goals, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.Provide technical expertise and support for network planning activities, including design reviews, feasibility assessments, and risk evaluations.Engage with external stakeholders, such as regulatory agencies, utilities, and community groups, to address planning-related concerns and requirements.Ensure that network planning activities comply with relevant industry standards, regulations, and best practices.Prepare and present reports on network planning activities, including performance evaluations, planning recommendations, and updates.Maintain comprehensive documentation related to network planning, including technical analyses, plans, and performance metrics.Identify opportunities for process improvements in network planning and implementation.Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Environmental Engineering, Water Resources Engineering, or a related field Master’s degree or relevant professional certification (e.g., PMP, PE) is preferred Experience in water network planning and engineering Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Strong communication and leadership abilities Strong understanding of water network systems, performance analysis, and optimization techniques.Proficiency in hydraulic modelling and simulation software Why Join Etihad WE?At Etihad WE, we’re shaping the future of the utilities sector while fostering an inclusive and innovative work environment.
