Job Title: Steel Fixer Location: Abu Dhabi United Arab Emirates Salary: TBD (Based on experience and qualifications)Benefits: Visa Accommodation Transportation Medical Insurance Job Type: Full Time Joining: Immediate Joiners Preferred Job Summary: We are currently seeking experienced Steel Fixers for a leading construction and civil engineering company based in Abu Dhabi UAE. The ideal candidate will be responsible for cutting bending assembling and installing steel bars and mesh used to reinforce concrete on construction sites. A good understanding of structural drawings and strong practical skills in rebar work are essential.Key Responsibilities: Read and interpret engineering and structural drawings for rebar layout.Cut bend and shape steel bars and mesh using hand and power tools.Tie rebar securely using wire clips or welding equipment.Assemble prefabricated steel reinforcement as per site requirements.Install reinforcement bars in concrete forms before pouring.Follow instructions from foremen or supervisors to ensure accuracy.Inspect and verify placement and alignment of rebar to meet technical specs.Comply with safety regulations when handling sharp tools and heavy materials.Maintain a clean and safe working environment on the construction site.Report issues or material shortages to the supervisor.Requirements: 1 2 years of experience as a Steel Fixer (Gulf experience preferred).Familiarity with rebar cutting bending tying and installation techniques.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and bar bending schedules (BBS).Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials and work in various site conditions.Basic communication skills in English Hindi or Urdu preferred.Willingness to work long hours including overtime weekends or in outdoor conditions.Knowledge of health and safety protocols related to steel fixing and construction work.Preferred Attributes: Reliable honest and punctual Detailoriented with good handeye coordination Strong teamwork and problemsolving abilities Able to follow instructions precisely Committed to quality and safety standards Working Conditions: 6day work week Work performed mostly outdoors in construction environments Tasks involve standing bending lifting and use of heavyduty tools PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) provided by the company Overtime may be required as per project deadlines Compensation & Benefits: Salary: TBD (based on experience and qualifications)Accommodation: Companyprovided Transportation: Provided to and from job site Visa & Medical Insurance: Provided as per UAE labor law Meals/Kitchen Facilities: Available #J-18808-Ljbffr
