High-profile Private PA & House Manager Job Description Marcilly Recruitment’s client, a VIP high-profile UHNW family in the UAE, is seeking an extremely high-calibre Private PA & House Manager to support the male principal in a 24/7 Private PA role. This is a newly created Private PA & House Manager role to work alongside their existing Private PA. The role will be split in two due to the extremely demanding 24/7 nature of the role – the existing Private PA will support the female principal, and this newly created role will support the male principal.This is a hugely interesting and varied role working across their very busy private lives. The family need a hugely professional and discreet Private PA & House Manager due to the high-profile nature of the role both in the UAE and globally, particularly the UK and US.Salary: AED30K-AED35K per month – tax free Benefits: discretionary bonus; Global Health insurance, including spouse & dependents; 22 days annual leave, relocation package Hours: 8am-5pm with flexibility required out of hours Location: based between their home in Dubai and the office Start date: ideally ASAP – will not wait more than a six-week notice Private PA & House Manager Administrative Responsibilities Manage private appointments for family and friends Make private orders and purchases on request as and when required Manage diary and scheduling appointments accordingly Manage private birthdays and gift listing including assisting with Christmas gifts Manage annual family Christmas card, organise distribution & maintain accurate Christmas list information Manage art collection, insurance and all correspondence with shipments, damages etc.Manage all paperwork for auctions and bidding proceedings Manage wine collections and purchases Property & Household Management (worldwide)Manage property projects, main point of contact for all household items; including managing suppliers, liaising with interior designers, managing household works/repairs etc.Liaisewith insurance brokers to ensure policies are up to date and provide comprehensive coverage Manage all domestic staff, all HR issues, salary payment, arranging visas, vacations etc.Maintain a rota for household staff and schedule of work needed Maintain an extensive fine artwork & wine inventory Travel Management Provide private support to the family on all travel bookings, including family and friends travel arrangements on both commercial airlines and private charters Source holiday options for the principal and family travel plans Coordinate visa applications for family and friends Build and maintain working relationships with external travel providers. Be available to travel with the family on trips as and when required (not often)Event Management Aid in planning and executing parties at residences to include sourcing and coordinating caterers, site inspections, logistics, and entertainment Source venues, booking restaurants, networking, building and maintaining relationships with external contacts Finance Responsibilities Manage payment of household bills & expenses Achieve cost effective solutions and negotiate reasonable pricing Manages Private office expenses, managing petty cash and staff budgets Private PA & House Manager Requirements A minimum of 7 years working as a high-level Private PA & House Manager. Must have at least 4 years working at an UHNW level Must have experience working directly in an UHNW private household A strong knowledge of the UAE if the successful Private PA & House Manager has not lived here before Must have a minimum of 5 years working as a Private PA, with at least 4 of those working at an UHNW level in a very demanding 24/7 type role.Strong educational background, a degree is desired but not compulsory The successful Private PA & House Manager must have demonstrated loyalty and longevity in their roles.
