Electrical and Automation Draftsman

Working closely with Projects Managers, Sr. Project Engineer to provide engineering support for their projects. This involves the meetings and coordination with different project teams and client / end-users.Involved in technical meetings to understand the requirements, specification and prepare datasheets, drawings using 2D CAD software.Produce designs and drawings for electrical systems, i.e. interconnection diagrams, cable schedules, single line diagrams, general arrangement drawings and grounding / earthing, lighting / services designs.Review and prepare cable tray design and calculate cable sizing and coordinate with consultant for accurate datasheets and sizing.Review and support in preparation of BOQ, material take-offs.Ensure all drawings and deliverables are checked and IFC drawings are issued to project teams for execution and compliance with project and company quality standards.Update As-Builts drawings as per the clients redline markups RML and submit to client through EDMS solutions.Ensure and execute those designs follow the electrical design criteria for the project as well as defined design standards, codes, and regulations.Ensure coordination of all electrical interfaces with engineers of other disciplines with consultants, clients, PMC personnel and internal EEIC Project Managers, Sr. Projects Engineers, and other Site Project Engineers.Prepare detailed drawings including SLDs, wiring diagrams, control panel layouts, loop diagrams, cable routing, and instrumentation layouts.Create as-built drawings based on site mark-ups and redlines.Ensure compliance with project specifications, ADNOC standards, and international codes (IEC, NEC, etc.).Coordinate with project engineers, site teams, and other disciplines to ensure drawing accuracy.Maintain proper version control and documentation of drawings.Review vendor drawings and incorporate into overall design.Support electrical and automation engineers in developing design packages for onshore and offshore oil & gas projects.Qualifications Diploma / ITI in Electrical Engineering or relevant field.Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a draftsman in oil & gas or EPC projects.Proficient in Auto CAD, EPLAN, and Microsoft Office tools.Knowledge of PLC, SCADA system layouts, and automation panels is an added advantage.Familiar with UAE standards and ADNOC requirements (preferred).Good communication and coordination skills.Ability to work under tight deadlines and deliver quality drawings.Additional Information Skills & Professional Requirements Have worked as a Senior Draftsman on the electrical & Automation projects.Experience and detailed knowledge of relevant drafting requirements.Experience working on ADNOC brownfield projects / plants are preferred.Experienced with review of piping bulk deliverables (i.e. General Arrangement Drawings, Detailed module layouts, Isometrics, Piping Support Schedule, etc.)Experience Experience level : 08years.05 years or more experience UAE or Middle East Minimum 03 years as Sr. Draftsman / Designer with strong knowledge of discipline specific drafting skills, codes, and standards practices.High level of drafting skills using Auto CAD, MS-Office or other 3D software.HSE compliance and ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.Attributes and Behaviours Excellent personality with strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.Good technical team and interpersonal skills Strong computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft office products, specifically Outlook, Excel, Power Point, and Word Electrical Draftsman • Abu Dhabi, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates #J-18808-Ljbffr
