Tropp Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates Chief Accountant Tropp Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates A tech startup focusing on delivering AI powered logistics optimisation solutions is establishing its Middle East HQ in Abu Dhabi ADGM and requires a Chartered account.The company was founded 3 years ago in Lebanon and was rebranded 1 year ago in Tropp (for Track & Optimise) after successful product testing and securing client contracts.The economic model is built on SAAS (software as a service) subscription based with a wide range of customized hardware to ensure smooth operation remotely.The company has currently around 18 staff primarily engineers and project managers. The ADGM office will serve as the new regional headquarters and main office for engineering, project management, sales and marketing to scale up the business.Chartered Accountant scope of work: maintain accounting records and prepare accounts and management information liaise with internal and external auditors (where applicable) and deal with any financial irregularities as they arise.prepare financial statements, including monthly and annual accountsarrange financial management reports, including financial planning and forecastingassess accounting software/business management software that respond to the company business requirement and regulation while being agile and cost efficientmanage financial systems and budgetsundertake financial audits (an independent check of an organisation's financial position)provide financial advice whenever required.review the company's systems and mitigate potential risksproduce reports and recommendations following internal audits or regulator audits Profile, experience & skills: The ideal candidate is chartered accountant that has a minimum of 7 years experience in one of the top audit firms (Big 4), or is currently a chartered account in a credible mid size corporate ideally in a software company. He should have a good understanding of accounting software solutions which match the business model and needs while being cost-efficient.He must demonstrate strong entrepreneur attitude with initiatives in setting up an efficient accounting and reporting system for multi location /multi service/products matrix.
