Perks & Benefits As Per Labour Law, Visa, Medical Insurance, Accomodation Vacancy Job Description JOB PURPOSEOperate machine and equipment according to Standard Operating Procedures, processes and manufacturing plan to safely produce conforming products that meet targeted outputs.KEY ACCOUNTABILTIESPolicies, Processes and Procedures Operate assigned machinery and equipment safely and efficiently in line with Ducab Standard Operating Procedures, processes, standards and instructions and with lean principles Health, Safety and Environment (HSE)Implement all relevant HSE policies, procedures & guidelines Participate in Emergency Response duties as a team member, as applicable Reports Provide input for the preparation of method statements and initiate any near-miss reports Prepare various quality checklists for management to support quality programs Health, Safety and Environment (HSE)Implement all relevant HSE policies, procedures & guidelines Implement 5S principles to keep the work environment clean and tidy before, during and after executing the job Innovation and Continuous Improvement Participate in lean manufacturing initiatives for innovation and continuous improvement Machine Specifications and Condition Set up and run the machine efficiently to specified specifications to product the required output Monitor the machine condition and performance and report to the Supervisor any deviations to achieve required efficiency and output Quality Checks Perform quality checks on the product to ensure conformance, raise notifications in SAP and report any deviations to the Supervisor for corrective action Carry out routine checks on machine parameters in line with the Ducab check list to detect deviations or abnormalities and inform the Supervisor for prompt corrective action Autonomous Maintenance Undertake autonomous maintenance of equipment as scheduled by SAP to meet preventive and autonomous maintenance objectives SAP system Maintain a record of production in the logbook and quality records in SAP to allow traceability, investigation of causes, deviations and generate corrective action Training Train new operators and assistants on machine Desired Candidate Profile KNOWLEDGE AND QUALIFICATIONSEssential: Secondary School Certificate plus a relevant technical trade certificate (2 -3-year degree)Job Skills: Operational skills, good communication, physically able, time management Behavioral Competencies: Systematic approach, transparency, integrity, professionalism, caring & supportive style, passion for excellence, change management orientation Experience: 4 or more years of relevant experience in machinery and across multiple equipment, within a large industrial plant, preferably in the Cable industry Disclaimer: Naukrigulf.com is only a platform to bring jobseekers & employers together.
