Join to apply for the Assistant Manager-Forensics role at KPMG Lower Gulf.Get AI-powered advice on this job and more exclusive features.Job Description We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager in Forensics with a strong background in forensic services, internal audit, or external audit.Qualifications The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of experience in a Big Four or similar firm and hold relevant certifications such as ACCA, ACA, CPA, CFE, CIA, or ACAMS.This role involves managing forensic assignments independently, contributing to business development, and supporting client engagements.Key Responsibilities Thorough knowledge of forensic service offerings within an independent accounting firm.Understanding of global/local risk management procedures of KPMG and ensuring compliance.Handling small to medium-sized assignments independently.Assisting in business development activities.Participating in client meetings, understanding objectives and scope, and assisting with proposals and terms of reference.Preparing forensic reports and relevant documentation.Building proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and forensic software/tools like i2 Chart.Staying updated on forensic materials and news relevant to the field.Developing skills in fraud investigation, anti-bribery & corruption, fraud risk assessment, and dispute advisory services.Mentoring less experienced staff, especially on risk management procedures and technical guidance.Reporting daily activities and progress to the manager or team leader.Advisory Skills and Behaviors In addition to technical skills, candidates should demonstrate market awareness, initiative, autonomy, responsibility, coaching ability, adaptability, relationship-building, analytical thinking, creativity, honesty, clarity in communication, and effective planning and monitoring skills.Person Specifications Strong forensic background with experience in accounting, law enforcement, forensic technology, or legal fields preferred.
