The Academy GEMS World Academy-Dubai (GWA) is a private, co-educational IB World School for Pre K to Grade 12 students. The department is highly regarded for the care and personal support it offers students. We are now seeking an innovative Alternative Pathway Teacher to join this successful team from August 2025.Core Responsibilities Liaise with SLT on Alternative Pathway curriculum development and timetabling.Collaborate with the Director of Whole School Inclusion on future developments for the Alternative Pathway at GWA.Liaise with specialist subject teachers to modify the curriculum for mainstream lessons.Update and oversee the IASEND assessment tracker for the Alternative Pathway.Coordinate with SLT and specialist teachers on Alternative Pathway reporting systems.Work with Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) and case managers on ASDAN and Alternative Pathway resources.Moderate ASDAN student files for certification internally.Lead professional development sessions on ASDAN for Learning Support Assistants.Deliver ASDAN tasks and assignments.Coordinate with Dubai ASDAN and International Development coordinators for integration, review, and moderation of ASDAN.Stay updated on national and international developments in ASDAN curriculum. #J-18808-Ljbffr
