The hotel offers award-winning 5-star luxury hospitality and authentic local experiences with 390 luxurious rooms and suites, along with acclaimed culinary options.About the job Based at Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental, Abu Dhabi within the Concierge Department, the Concierge Agent handles guest requests in a friendly and caring manner, manages messages, mail, and parcels addressed to guests and staff, following hotel procedures and service standards to ensure guest satisfaction. The Concierge Agent reports to the Assistant Chief Concierge.Responsibilities include: Answering guest questions and fulfilling requests such as providing information, making reservations for tours, restaurants, transportation, giving directions, and flight confirmations. Refer requests to relevant staff as needed to ensure guest satisfaction.Staying updated on hotel services, local attractions, restaurants, transportation, sports facilities, churches, shopping areas, and other relevant information to assist guests effectively.Managing records, delivering and distributing all incoming and outgoing mail, faxes, messages, and parcels for guests and staff according to hotel procedures.Storing guest luggage securely upon request and handling all luggage with care.Selling stamps for postcards and letters.Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the desk area, replenishing brochures, magazines, and city maps.Sending faxes for guests during the Business Center’s closing hours.Performing other duties as assigned by supervisors or managers.Candidate requirements: High school diploma or equivalent.Previous experience in a similar role at a luxury hotel is preferred; resort experience is a plus.Well-groomed, professional appearance.Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.Physically agile and able to stand for extended periods.Our commitment to you includes: Learning & Development programs tailored to your career growth.MOstay: Enjoy complimentary nights and attractive rates on rooms worldwide for you and your loved ones.Health & Colleague Wellness: Access to health benefits and wellness programs globally.Retirement Plans: Various plans based on your service length and role.We’re Fans.
