CNC Machinist (DMG, Mazak, Integrex)

Note: Please ONLY apply if you have the required experience and skills as detailed below.Job Summary The CNC Machinist produces machined parts by programming, setting up, and operating CNC machines. Responsible for maintaining part quality, adhering to safety standards, and caring for company equipment.Responsibilities Follow all safety rules and policies provided by NOV.Produce/machine threaded connections and parts according to provided drawings and programs.Inspect and verify that each thread and part meets specifications.Follow guidelines from the Superintendent.Maintain a clean and organized work environment.Care for, use, and protect all company equipment, following safety rules.Perform duties accurately, verify parts and work orders, and perform other tasks as assigned.Behavioral Skills / Competencies Required Observe and listen to machinery to diagnose malfunctions and determine adjustments.Study first article parts, drawings, and engineering info to determine methods and dimensions.Good math skills to understand complex instructions and schematics.Problem-solving skills to optimize machine performance and troubleshoot errors.Attention to detail, working with precision equipment to avoid critical errors.Mechanical and technical skills, including understanding CAD/CAM technology.Stamina for long hours of repetitive work.Conceptual skills including process improvement, communication, tooling, coordination, and judgment.Qualifications and Experience DME, ITI, or vocational training in mechanical engineering with at least 2 years of experience.Experience as a Turner, Machinist, or Fitter.Preferred Experience Experience with Mazak Machines (Integrex 400, ST450, STN500/550M), ROMI Machines (M33, M43), Doosan (Puma700LM, DBC130L).Oil & Gas manufacturing experience.Skills and Knowledge Familiarity with operating CNC machines for rotatory shoulder connections (API, Grant Prideco, Tenaris, Vam, etc.) and HWDP components.Ability to communicate in English and follow written and verbal instructions.About Us We leverage over 150 years of combined experience in the oil and gas industry to help our customers succeed.
