Get AI-powered advice on this job and more exclusive features.Job Title: Senior Network Security Engineer Position Overview Our client is seeking a skilled Senior Network Security Engineer to design, implement and manage secure, high-performance network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in Network security design and implementation, network protocols, firewall technologies and security practices to help ensure a resilient and compliant IT environment.Key Responsibilities1. Network Infrastructure Design & Implementation Design, implement and manage client’s Network security.Configure and troubleshoot routers, switches, access points, and other network components.Monitor and optimize network performance to ensure reliability and minimal downtime.Implement and manage remote connectivity solutions, including VPN and SD-WAN technologies.2. Network Security Management Develop and enforce security policies AND best practices for network infrastructure.Configure, manage, and monitor firewalls (Palo Alto, Cisco, Fortinet, Checkpoint).Implement and support IDS/IPS systems to protect the client’s infrastructure.Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.Ensure compliance with industry and regulatory standards such as ISO 27001, NIST and GDPR.Serve as the primary responder for network and security-related incidents.Investigate, analyse and resolve network and security issues in a timely manner.Respond to security alerts and take appropriate action, such as mitigation or escalation.Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.4.
