So, as we shape a more resourceful, less wasteful world, we build our careers too.About the Job The Sales Engineer will work directly with customers, including end users and engineering companies, to develop cooling solutions for their processes. Working with field sales personnel and manufacturer’s representatives is essential in all aspects of the sales effort, including negotiating purchase orders from customers.About the position: This role requires understanding heat transfer calculations, mechanical design of equipment, and preparing cost estimates within our system. Responsibilities include: Completing thermal analysis of customer requirements and thermal design using heat transfer principles and calculations.Assisting other sales engineers with system design and proposals.Preparing proposals based on project technical specifications and requirements.Supervising and organizing bid preparation, ensuring accurate costing estimates.Participating in customer presentations and negotiations.Maintaining continuous communication with customers to provide engineered-to-order heat transfer products.Participating in training sessions, meetings, and professional development.Attending industry conferences to develop expertise.Working with management to develop and implement sales strategies and policies.Assisting the manager with other tasks as needed.Following all safety policies and promoting safe behavior.Complying with company policies and procedures.Conducting oneself professionally and cooperatively with colleagues, customers, vendors, and visitors.What you know: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical or Chemical. Experience in Heat Transfer is preferred but not required. Additional competencies include: Medium-level technical and financial knowledge for estimating and selling with some independence.Exceptional communication, organization, and presentation skills.Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, and customers.Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Power Point; familiarity with Auto CAD and/or Solid Works is a plus.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Confidence in interacting with internal and external stakeholders.Ability to multi-task and prioritize.Valid driver’s license.Willingness to travel internationally and domestically, approximately 25-35% of the time.What's in it for you: We offer a challenging role in an open and friendly environment where we support each other's development and value creation.
