If you are excited about connecting hearts and showing passion to your guests, join us as the next Heartist and help make Sofitel Dubai the Obelisk a truly welcoming destination!Job Description Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Report to the Shift Supervisor regarding daily work progress and work order completion.Attain all refrigeration and A/C complaint reports daily, prioritizing guest room issues.Work closely with the Shift Supervisor and peers to carry out preventive and annual maintenance programs.Follow all safety rules and regulations, departmental procedures, and instructions.Perform tasks assigned by the supervisor.Read and interpret Building services, Air-conditioning, Refrigeration, and Electrical drawings.Fault find and repair air-conditioning, refrigeration, and building control systems; possess good electrical knowledge.Knowledge of BMS systems.Experience with reciprocating chillers, air handling plants, and cold rooms.Familiar with planned preventive maintenance and safety programs.Be flexible and a team player, able to work independently.Understand water treatment techniques and handle chemicals safely.Conduct periodic inspections of refrigeration equipment.Perform guest room maintenance according to schedule.Coordinate with electricians for electrical work when needed, including functions and parties.Maintain refrigeration log sheets and record temperatures daily.Assist peers as requested by the supervisor.Keep tools in good condition and maintain a clean workspace.Understand and adhere to the Sofitel Brand and operating standards.Participate in and assist with other projects as required.Qualifications Secondary School plus Technical College or equivalent.Practical trade skills including fabrication, installation, and maintenance.Ability to perform gas and arc welding.Good command of English. #J-18808-Ljbffr
