Job Title: Senior Contract Manager We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Contract Manager with the following qualifications and expertise: Degree qualified (BSc / MSc) professionally recognized (MRICS / FRICS) with senior professional level in project delivery of large projects (10+ years), preferably similar to this client/consultant project/role. Expert in reviewing, understanding, and applying contacts and framework agreements. Experience in drafting contract particulars and appendices, compiling tender documents, conducting tender negotiations, analysis, and recommendations, and negotiating contract conditions. Capable of reviewing existing operations within an organization across all project pre and post contract phases (processes and procedures in both office and site). Familiar with RIBA design stages, especially Stages 2 to 6. Skilled in assessing strengths and weaknesses, and assisting in developing bespoke processes and procedures covering quality, progress, commercial, contractual matters, value, safety, design, and construction. Proven track record as a Commercial / Contracts Manager in delivering large, multi-functional projects. Strong negotiation skills and claims experience on major projects. Demonstrable commercial and contractual acumen. Experience in managing contractual correspondence, providing advice, and drafting responses. Knowledge of project controls, especially change management procedures. A well-rounded profile, comfortable with planning, analysis, and managing process and commercial considerations, with a drive for successful delivery. Effective at building relationships within complex structures, both within projects and with clients. At least 5 years of experience working in the Middle East is preferable. Experience in assessing and evaluating independent Consultants and reporting on contractual compliance. Ability to assess and evaluate Atkins R alis compliance with contractual obligations and oversee improvements. Reporting directly to the Commercial Director for PDO, with the ability to support the PDO team and PMC as applicable, in contract administration and management. Willing to deputize for the PDO Commercial Director if required. Candidate Profile: Support existing operations within a private sector organization through all project phases, especially related to Contracts Management, and prepare comprehensive reports for clients. Provide full quantity surveying services as required. Maintain and enhance the company's reputation with clients and develop new opportunities. Fully integrate into the PDO team, supporting colleagues and senior management. Must Be Conversant In: Procurement Management, including developing procurement and contracting strategies. Contract Management and Administration, including supervision, review, and reporting on contracts. Budget and Cost Control, overseeing the Master Budget and project-specific budgets. Payment Applications, reviewing and recommending on payments. Variation Assessment, reviewing and valuing variations. Claims Management, tracking causes, assessing impacts, and advising clients. Final Accounts, managing preparation, review, and settlement. Management of contractual correspondence.
