The hotel features 390 rooms and suites, renowned culinary experiences, and state-of-the-art conference facilities.Job Description Based in the Purchasing Department, the Buyer (Technical / Engineering) is responsible for procuring electrical, mechanical, hardware materials, equipment, and technical supplies, ensuring timely delivery and cost efficiency in line with hotel policies.Key Responsibilities Process purchase orders using the procurement system according to company policies.Obtain and compare vendor quotes, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness.Maintain good relationships with vendors and monitor supplier performance.Ensure timely deliveries and proper handling of purchases.Handle receiving, storage, and distribution of goods.Ensure purchased items meet corporate standards and maintain accurate records.Secure competitive bids and perform procurement duties efficiently.Adhere to safety, fire, hygiene, and health regulations.Qualifications and Experience Background in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or related field.3-5 years of experience in technical procurement, preferably in manufacturing, construction, energy, or engineering sectors.Understanding of engineering drawings, technical specs, and BOM.Familiarity with materials like metals, valves, pumps, electrical components, etc.Strong vendor management and negotiation skills.Knowledge of import/export regulations is a plus.Excellent communication and analytical skills.Our Benefits Learning & Development programs for career growth.MOstay program for hotel stays at attractive rates.Health & Wellness benefits.Retirement plans based on service and role.Job Details Role Level: Mid-Level Work Type: Full-Time Country: United Arab Emirates City: Abu Dhabi Industry Hotels Hospitality Department Maintenance Operations Keywords Buyer Technical Engineering Disclaimer: Naukrigulf.com is a platform connecting jobseekers and employers.
