Solutions Engineer Middle East - French Speaking What You’ll Do The Pre-Sales Solutions Engineering organization is responsible for the technical sale of the Cloudflare solution portfolio, ensuring maximal business value, fit-for-purpose solution design, and efficient adoption roadmaps for our customers. Solution Engineering is made up of individuals from diverse backgrounds—including Financial Consulting, Product Management, Customer Support, and Software Engineering—and we are committed to building a diverse, curious, and collaborative team.Role Overview As a Solutions Engineer, you will serve as the technical customer advocate within Cloudflare. You will assist your customers and collaborate closely with teams across Cloudflare—Sales, Product, Engineering, and Customer Support—to drive customer success. Your goal is to develop scalable solutions tailored to your customers’ needs.The broad range of Cloudflare’s products and solutions aims to help build a better Internet. Therefore, a solid understanding of Internet performance and security technology is essential, along with a curiosity to learn and adapt to rapid product innovations. All necessary resources and training will be provided to support your effectiveness in this role.Desired Skills, Knowledge, and Experience Our Solutions Engineers come from various backgrounds, including IT, engineering, software development, product management, financial consulting, customer support, and project delivery. We value diverse experience and genuine curiosity about our technology.You should be passionate about technology and capable of explaining complex concepts clearly. A natural curiosity, hands-on attitude, and eagerness to help customers realize the full potential of Cloudflare are crucial. Collaboration and leveraging different strengths within the team are also important.You should have a good foundational understanding of how to achieve technical wins to persuade customers to choose our solutions over competitors.Additional skills and experience may include: 3 to 10 years of experience in the IT industry.Fluent in French and English (written and spoken).Ability to manage projects, meet deadlines, and prioritize tasks.Empathy for customers and quick identification of challenges and pain points.Understanding of how the Internet works, including: Differences between TCP & UDP, and their application preferences;The distinction between authoritative DNS and recursive DNS;The role of firewalls, TLS (SSL), HTTP, and the quirks of clients and servers.Knowledge of how customers make buying decisions and explaining ROI.Familiarity with the competitive landscape in areas like DDo S, CDN, Performance, DNS, Developer platforms, or Zero-Trust/SASE services.Willingness to travel approximately 10-15 days per quarter for customer visits, conferences, and talks.Disclaimer: Naukrigulf.com is a platform connecting jobseekers and employers.
